Σήμερα γιορτάζει η ΖΑΧΑΡΩ! Γιορτάζει ο Προστάτης μας , Ο ΑΓΙΟΣ ΣΠΥΡΙΔΩΝΑΣ! Είναι ιδιαίτερη ημέρα για εμάς τους Ζαχαραίους, αφού πολλά και σημαντικά γεγονότα μας συνδέουν με Τον Προστάτη μας!!

Τα παιδικά μου βιώματα, άμεσα συνδεδεμένα με τον Άγιο και προστάτη μας, με ωθούσαν την ημέρα αυτή να παίρνω μία άδεια (3) ημερών , τότε που υπηρετούσα στη Γερμανία ως Εκπαιδευτικός, για να μπορέσω να ανάψω το κεράκι μου, όπως με είχε συνηθίσει η μάνα μου από παιδί. Δυστυχώς, τούτη τη χρονιά, ο κορονοϊός από τη μία πλευρά και η ηλικία μου από την άλλη, δεν θα μου το επιτρέψουν.

Νιώθω την ανάγκη να γράψω λίγα λόγια για τον Άγιό μας και να του αφιερώσω ένα ποίημα από την ποιητική μου συλλογή « ΓΕΡΟΝΤΙΚΑ ΦΤΕΡΟΥΓΙΣΜΑΤΑ»: Ο ΑΓΙΟΣ ΣΠΥΡΙΔΩΝΑΣ, έχει διακοσμηθεί με μοναδικούς τίτλους όπως: Θαυματουργός, άνθρωπος του Ουρανού, Άγγελος επί της γης, Φίλος του Χριστού, αλλά και Θεοφόρος!!!Σε κάθε δύσκολη στιγμή δεν μεμψιμοιρούσε, ούτε γόγγυζε, αλλά με την παρουσία Του μετέτρεπε τις δυσκολίες σε ευκαιρίες για κάτι καλύτερο. Κοντά στην ευσπλαχνία προς τους έχοντες ανάγκη επεδείκνυε πραότητα, σωφροσύνη, σεμνότητα και ανδρεία. Ο Θεός απαντούσε στον δικό Του Άνθρωπο και του χορηγούσε τα πάντα.

Σήμερα εμείς, απευθυνόμενοι με την οφειλόμενη ευγνωμοσύνη, για την προστασία και την προσφορά Του στον τόπο μας, Του κραυγάζουμε με μια φωνή:«‘Ανθρωπε Επουράνιε, Επίγειε Άγγελε, του αμπελώνος εργάτα, γνήσιε φίλε του Χριστού, Τον Σωτήρα πρέσβευε του σωθήναι τας ψυχάς ημών – ΑΜΗΝ!!»

Ο ΑΓΙΟΣ ΣΠΥΡΙΔΩΝΑΣ ΖΑΧΑΡΩΣΟ Άγιος ΣπυρίδωναςΠολιούχος της Ζαχάρωςστέκεται εκεί στην κορυφήσαν αναμμένος Φάρος.

Στέκεται εκεί ψηλάγια να μπορεί να βλέπειτην κάθε μας παρεκτροπή ώστε να μας προτρέπει. Είναι ένα κομψοτέχνημα τον τόπο μας στολίζει την Ιστορία την παλιά σε όλους μας θυμίζει.

Κοντά του σαν βρισκόμαστε κάθε καλοκαιράκι ποτέ μας δεν ξεχάσα μεν’ανάψουμε κεράκι. Όλοι μας την Εικόνα Του θέλουμε ν’ασπασθούμε και μέσα απ’ την καρδούλα μας πολλούς καημούς να πούμε. Πάντοτε μας προστάτεψε στις δύσκολες στιγμές μας γι’ αυτό και μεις του στέλνουμε θερμές τις προσευχές μας.

Σ’ όλες τις μάχες’πού’γινανστην πόλη της’Ζαχάρωςμεσ’ τη δική Του την Αυλήδεν πάτησε ο χάρος.Τα βλήματα που πέφτανεστο χώρο της Αυλής Τουέμεναν κάτω άσκασταμε Εντολή δική Του.Είναι σαν να τους έλεγε:” Άδικα πολεμάτε!!”Αδέλφια όλοι είμαστεαυτό πώς το ξεχνάτε;;
